2014 N.E.B.A.S./Bergen All Stars Fall Baseball League

Opening Day For N.E.B.A.S. / Bergen All Stars is September 7, 2014.

For the fall season, the age cutoff moves to next year, April 30,2015. As a result a 10u player becomes an 11u and so on.

There is an 8 game season planned on the following dates:

September 7, 14, 21 and 28, October 5,12,19 and 26.

Playoffs: November 2 (semifinals) , November 9 (finals).

Levels of play: 8u Player Pitch, 9u/10u, 11u/12u, 12u (50/700, 13u (50/70), 13u/14u (60/90), 16u.

N.J. Native Comes Home To Take On The Mets, As An Atlanta Brave « CBS New York

Checked out this great piece on Tom LaStella, current Braves second baseman and former N.E.B.A.S./Bergen All Stars player. Tom played for Closter in our N.E.B.A.S. / Bergen All Stars
baseball many years ago. He was also a star at St Joseph Regional High School in Montvale before moving on to college and then into the pros. Kudos to Tom and his family.

May 31st – Rosters are due for Summer N.E.B.A.S. League

July 19th – N.E.B.A.S. Summer League play ends

July 21st – N.E.B.A.S. Summer Playoffs Starts

July 28th – N.E.B.A.S. Summer Championship Games Start

Summer NEBAS League Registration

2014 Summer NEBAS League Registration has now begun.

NE.B.A.S. /Bergen All Stars has been offering towns in Bergen County and Rockland County travel baseball leagues since 1989. Further information is provided on the official NEBAS Summer League website , click here.

NEBAS Summer League

N.E.B.A.S. will be offering levels of play for :
7u/8u Coach Pitch
8u (40/60, Player Pitch)
9u, 10u, 9u/10u Transitional
11u, 12u, 11u/12u Transitional
12u (50/70)
13u, 14u and 16u

The 12u (50/70) is a new level that is growing in popularity throughout the country, with major youth baseball associations offering tournament play at this intermediate field dimension, and the Summer N.E.B.A.S. Boardfelt it best to offer it to our towns as well.

Opening Day is slated for Monday June 16 ( June 14 for all 13u,14u and HS levels) and the Summer N.E.B.A.S. Board hopes to be able to host your teams/program.
